My career day this sophomore year was an adventure. The night before the actual career day my guy canceled on me and I had to quickly find a backup. I eventually found someone I could shadow. He is a Strategy and Innovation Consultant for the company Huron. He works in the healthcare department of the company. Basically he and his team look for a point of success within a companies lifetime. With this information they make a hypothesis of some sort and explain the success for the company. With a confirmed and solid foundation and hypothesis, Jason, the guy I was shadowing, along with his team make a presentation and go the the executives of the healthcare company and present. I was dropped off at his home around 8:45 and that is when my day began. It ran from 8:45-2:00. I interviewed and observed him as he went along with days. I would ask questions whenever I could and took notes. I eventually came to the sensus that I would not really be interested in this job since I would enjoy moving around and staying active as well as having a personal relationship with my co workers.

- What got you interested in this job?
- I have always known I wanted to work in business. My family like my father, and his parents as well as my mother and her parents always talked about business. It has interested me and influenced my choice to become a Strategy and Innovation Consultant. I also have always been analytical. Specifically I was thrown into the healthcare department and I am quite glad I was. I personally believe the healthcare system in America is really messed up seeing as this is my belief I would love to help fix the healthcare system and make it an actual health care system rather than a sick care system.
