Chapter 1
Gunshots rang out, flashing bright in the dimly lit room. He lay dead on the ground blood seeping through many holes in his calf. As they looked upon the dead man they said
“Not so strong after all sissy...,” in unison.
It was about 6:22, the sun had already set, and it was dark when we received the call.
“What is it Teo?”
“Well Lim, we have a request from the police, and that is to solve a crime. But this time, it is a murder.”
“Oh, well, this will be interesting.”
“They also said that we are to go to the scene at once”
“Alright then, lets get ready!”
We got ready and left our living quarters. Once we reached the scene, the police came up to us, and filled us in about the murder.
“So he was shot in the calf, sliced 3 times with a sharp object, and his eyes were penetrated by something, and his name is Carl Azuz. He also work for the daily news. Right?” said Teo
“Yes,” replied the officer.
“Well then, let us see the body,” I said urgently.
“Yes, please show us the body of the dead man,” said Teo.
“Sure thing detective,” said the officer. “I am sure that you would also be interested in the small list of suspects that we have decided upon.”
“Yes, I would love to get some information from the suspects,” said Teo
We were walking over to see the dead body. And once we have reached the body, it seems as if Teo observed Carl’s eye closely. Then he said,
“Get me a pair of chopsticks from Kung Pow Life!”
“Sure...” I said, a little puzzled.
******
Chapter 2
I ran got the chopsticks, and when I was running back, I wondered about that man John Snyder. He was the one who gave me the chopsticks, but he had a strange smirk on his face before I came in. Once I reached the scene, I gave Teo the chopsticks.
“Well, while you were gone, I took out the bullet in his calf, and I could easily tell that it belonged to a revolver. Then the 3 slices from a sharp object is the same size a blade from a balisong knife. And now we are waiting to see what his eyes were penetrated with.”
“Oh wow! That is a bunch of deductions you have made there Teo.”
“Yes, and now Lim we will see if chopsticks have penetrated this man’s eye.”
Teo pulled the chopsticks out from its wrapper, and dipped each stick into each of Carl’s eyeball, and it fit perfectly!
“Wow Teo, I am astounded,” said the officer
“Thank you very much,” replied Teo, “but the thing is that we still don’t know who the murderer is!”
“Well then perhaps that is your next request for us,” I said.
“That is almost 100 percent true, but I also want you to bring him to court alive, so this person can serve his time in prison. Also if this person was working with another person, then kill everyone but one. Or just wound them all!”
“Alright,” I replied..
“Let us see the suspects officer.” says Teo
“Sure thing!” says the officer.
As the officer led us over towards the suspects. I wondered about that John Snyder person, and that suspicious smirk on his face. And I decided to tell Teo about what I have seen.
“Uh… Teo, can I tell you somethi-”
“Yes, just not at this particular moment. I want to think about what I will ask the suspects.”
“Ok Teo, here we are at the suspects. The one on the right is Matt Tarnowski, then the one in the middle, is named Edward Glocksmith, the last suspect is Linda Snyder.” says the officer.
“Alright then lets get down to business here. Matt, where were you in Chinatown at the time of the murder?”
“I actually saw the poor man taking in his last breath of air as the murderer, took something sharp , and penetrated his eyes. Then he ran off.”
As he said this, he was sweating, and his hands, and voice started to quaver.
“Alright, and may I ask you, what was this murderer wearing?
“Um he… he was, um…he was wearing a red hoodie, and black jeans.”
“Ok, and why did you choose to come to Chinatown at this particular time?”
“Well, I just wanted some chinese takeout from Kung Pow Life, that is all.”
Teo walked away from Matt, and whispered to me,
“Do you think he could be the killer?”
“He could really be the killer, since he was sweating, and his body started to quaver. He also stuttered, when you asked him what the murderer was wearing.”
“Yes, that is what I also think.”
Then Teo walked back to the suspects, and started to question Edward. He asked the same questions, and he boldly answered, by it seems as if he had to take some time to think about his answers. And I know that we could both tell that his body structure was very stiff. And we both agreed, that he could be the murderer. Then we asked Linda the same questions, and she responded very boldly, and didn’t hesitate. And Teo could tell that she wasn’t the murderer.

Chapter 3
While we were driving back home, Teo asked me,
“Oh! Lim, wasn’t there something that you wanted to tell me?”
“Um…. oh yes, when I went to get the chopsticks from Kung Pow Life!, I glanced through the window before I went in, and the man who gave me the chopsticks, John Snyder, had a very suspicious smirk on his face before I bursted through the doors of the restaurant. Then it seems his face returned back to its normal state.”
“Thank you for telling me that Lim, that makes a lot more sense to why Linda answered so boldly.”
Then we drove home in total silence. When we arrived home, Teo decided that we were going back to the crime scene the next day, and inspect more on what had happened.
The next day,
“Ok Lim, ge ready, we are off to the crime scene in 30 minutes.”
“Alright,” I replied, “I will be down in 20 minutes, just need to get my revolver, and my glass.”
I was got all my tools I needed to help Teo, and went down. We left as soon around 10:45, and arrived at the scene around 11:00. Teo got his glass out, along a few other trinkets to see fingerprints. By the time we were almost done, looking closer at the scene. I went over to Kung Pow Life to buy a late-lunch for Teo and I. And when I was about to enter the restaurant, when I heard some odd mumbling going on. And it seems as if it was coming from the back of the restaurant. I went to go check out what was going on. And I saw the man, that gave me the chopsticks, John Snyder having a conversation with Edward Glocksmith. As I got closer, I hugged the wall as if it was my best friend. And I could hear their conversation.
“Thank you for getting rid of that wretched scoundrel. He is the reason why my wife and I have to share a car. And I honestly never liked sharing,” said John
******
Chapter 4
“Yeah, it did me a favor, since I hated to share the position of the daily news announcer, and besides, I now can make two times as much money as I used to. And I am that type of guy that doesn’t like his spot light being stolen. And if you need anyone else to be assaulted, my address is 329 Casper Drive.”
“Alright. Thanks, and as I promised, here is $20,000. It is all in 100 dollar bills.”
“Thanks for your service!”
After that, Edward got into his car, and drove off. After that, I ran back to the front of the store, and acted as if I had just walked in. Then I asked him for orange chicken, with ice, and dumplings for Teo and I. Then I walked back, anxious to tell Teo what I had overheard. Once I got there, he asked me,
“Whats the hold up?”
“Well Teo, I think that we just solved this case.”
“What makes you say that?”
“Well, I saw the suspect, Edward Glocksmith talking to John Snyder, the man that had that strange smirk on his face. They were conversing about the murder, and John said thank you for killing him. And Edward was like, It also did me a favor, since I hated sharing ever since I was a kid, and I was sharing a position with him at the daily news, and my pay was cut in half. But now that he is dead, my pay is full. Then John gave him $20,000. And Edward just drove off!”
“Well, this means that Edward was a hitman, and John was too big of a sissy to kill Carl himself.”
“Basically!”
“Alright then, and did this Edward man says his address?”
“Hmmmm… no I don’t, actually, yes, yes he did, it is 329 Casper Drive.”
“Thank you for the information Lim, we should get home now since we are done with investigating.”

Chapter 5
When we arrived home, Teo told me,
“Get your titanium revolver, bring 30 cartridges, and your brightest light.”
“Ok.”
“I will get the same thing as you.”
“Alright, how long do I have.”
“Mmmmm… 10 minutes.”
“Oh jeez!”
I ran upstairs and rummaged through my room, trying to find my titanium revolver, and I think to myself, I hope I don’t lose it, since that thing cost me a fortune. I found it in the corner of my room, and my light was on my counter next to my bed. Then I ran down, and I was about to ask if Teo was ready, and I forgot about the bullets. I ran up, and found the round of bullets in a clip, and attached it to my pocket using the clip attached to it. And went downstairs and saw Teo there, then we departed.
“So what are we going to do with our weapons?” I asked.
“Well Lim, I do recall that the officer does want us to murder one of these bloodlust men.”
“Ah yes, well, this will be interesting, but then again we don’t know where John lives, so how are we going to-”
“Well, if Edward doesn’t call for help, we can just kill him, then arrest John at his workplace. And take him to court.”
“I am an imbecile, I can’t believe I didn’t think of that!”
“Yes, that was quite stupid of you to ask me that question. Oh it seems as if we have reached our destination.”
“Alright then, lets put the GPS away, and find a way we can get in, or we can blast our way through the door. But then again that bastard would hear us, and that will take away our element of surprise away.”
“Yes, that is very true…. so we will just have to find an open window, and hop through it.”
“Ok, but Teo, what are the chances of that even happening.”
“You would think that I’d consider that before I made that statement.”
“Yes, but-”
“There is an open window right behind you!”
“Oh really... dang, I am blind.”
“Yes Lim, you are very blind. Next time, look around instead of making assumptions firsthand..”
“Yes sir!” I said in a firm, loud voice
“Lim, are you intentionally trying to ruin the mission, remember that we are trying to kill this guy without causing a ruckus!”
“Sorry.”
“Now lets climb through the window, and take cover by the nearest wall, he might be waiting for us.”
“Alright, I want to go in first.”
As I climbed through the window, I heard random mumbling from Edward, and heard footsteps, and it sounded as if they were ascending. Then I signaled for Teo to climb in, but then I heard footsteps descending, and once Teo climbed in, there was Edward with his gun. And it was pointed at me!
******
Chapter 6
When Teo saw the gun that was pointed at me, he drew his revolver, and shot Edward in the calf.
“Get down!” yelled Teo
Edward limped away, and it was silent, then it sounds like he made a call, then he hung up. Meanwhile, Teo was hiding behind a wall, and he gave me the signal to advance. I shook my head, and told him to, and did a motion, that I will go around. He did a thumbs up, and I went around, and saw him hugging the wall, he attempted to shoot me, but it went in between my legs, and hit the stairs. And my plan worked, since I distracted him, and Teo came from behind, and shot him in the palm on the right hand. After that bullet, he was too weak to walk. Then we went upstairs, into his room.
“Lim, watch him, or anyone that comes in.”
“Ok I will, but what are you going to do?”
“I am going to search for the weapons he used, and find the clothing that Matt mentioned.”
“Alright.”
A few minutes later, the door opened, and I saw a figure in a lack jacket that ran to help Edward. Then Edward pointed up, and as the figure walked up. I yelled Teo to take cover, and pull out his revolver, and took cover behind a wall. I could hear his footsteps as he approached the room we were hiding in. I could hear him cock his pistol, then a strange sound. It sounded as if it was coming from his pocket. It sounded like it was a ringtone, an instant later, we both heard the person coming up the stairs say,
“Ok boss, I will be there early, maybe like 7:50. Yes! I am.. sweet what will be my new pay? $45.00 an hour! Holy cow! That is a major boost from my $6.50 and hour. Alright, I will be there tomorrow!”
******
Chapter 7
After that he hung up, and started to creep towards the room. But I think that he was unaware that we were hugging the wall right next to the entrance. And once he walked in, gunshots rang out, flashing bright in the dimly lit room. He lay dead on the ground blood seeping through many holes in his calf. As we looked upon the dead man they realized that it was John, and said
“Not so strong after all sissy...,” in unison.
After that, Teo gathered the evidence, of the bloody chopsticks, and bloody butterfly knife.
We went down, and Teo cuffed Edward and said,
“I will be taking you to the police station now, and address a court meeting at 9:30 tomorrow morning.”
I heard mumbling coming from Edward and I don’t think Teo appreciated it, because he punched him across the face. We drove down to the police station, and dropped him off at the station. And we told the guards that we will pick him up at 9:00 sharp tomorrow morning. Then we drove off, and Teo told me,
“Very good Lim, we did exactly what the officer at the crime scene requested us to do!”
“Well, you did all of the work, I just gave a small helping hand.”
“Oh no! Lim, you helped out a ton, you watched out for John to come, and you distracted Edward, and gave me the opportunity to shoot him. It was great!”
“Alright then, and it seems as if we have arrived back home.”
When we got back in, I told Teo that I was going to sleep. After that I woke to Teo calling my name loudly and saying that we needed to go to court immediately. When we went to court, there was a long debate, on Edwards time in jail, and they finally decided to give him 40 days in solitary confinement, and 30 more years in a cell. As we were heading back to our living quarters, I told Teo,
“Now that I think of it, that man Carl Azuz got brutally assaulted.”
“Yes that is very true, but there has been worse.”
“And this was all because of not wanting to share a job, and from jealousy.”
“Hey maybe if you have time, you can write a report on this murder.”
“Yeah… I will!”
Then we drove home in complete silence. Once we got home, I rushed up to my room, turned on my computer, and wrote a report on the murder. But it turns out that it is more like a story that has just been finished.
