Identity Project
Identity Project: The Human Brain
Description + Essential Questions
In this project, we had to make a model of the human brain, and label the parts of the brain we were assigned. My group(Me, Dylan, Nick, and Ricky) had to do the front, mid, and the hind brain. We made our model out of Crayola Magic Model. It turned out to look like a "sort-of" real brain that has been color coded. We also had to make a document, about the information we got about the mid brain, hind brain, and front brain. Then we had to make our essential questions document, where each of my group members had o write down some questions, about the parts of the brain.
Revisions
Something that my group revised, is the brain model. Since, after we made it, it looked terrible. For example it didn't look real, with the type of texture a real brain has. And the model itself was to small. So we decided to redo it. So what we did, to make it look more "real", is we got a new pack of Magic Model and did the same thing, but made each of the parts bigger. Then took the left overs, made it into "noodle-like" shapes, and stuck them to the brain, for the "real-life" texture. After that we color coded it, to make it categorize each part.

Reflection
1.What was the most fun about the project and why?
The most fun part about the project, was getting to make the brain model, since that was like the "big" thing.
2.What was the hardest part about the project and why?
The hardest part about the project, was coming up with essential questions. And helping our other group members come up with them.
3.What would you do differently if you did the project again?
I don't think I would have changed anything, if I could redo this project. Since my group worked well with each other, collaborated, did what they were supposed to, got everything done on time. And I felt like I did this project to the best of my abilities.
4.What is one new thing you learned?
Something new that I have learned, is that the mid brain is the smallest region of the brain.
